Teen Library at Main
The New Britain Public Library teen room is a safe space for teens to study, read, collaboratively work together, and hang out. Our teen room has comfy seating, computers for ages 12-18, a phone charging station, events and programs, a toy library with various video games and board games, and a wide selection of books, manga, and graphic novels.
The teen room is located on the ground floor of the New Britain Public Library and is open to New Britain youth in grades 6–12 (or their homeschool equivalent) Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The teen space is specifically designed for teen enjoyment, so we request that non-teen patrons retrieve teen materials and proceed to enjoy other spaces at the library.
